Privacy Policy for Voda
Last updated: May 31, 2026
Voda is a hydration tracking app. This Privacy Policy explains what information Voda handles, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Voda may store the following information on your device:
Voda does not require an account.
Voda stores your hydration data locally on your device. Data may also be stored in an Apple App Group container so that the main app, widgets, and Live Activities can display your current hydration progress.
The developer of Voda does not operate a server for collecting hydration data and cannot access the hydration data stored locally on your device.
If you choose to enable Apple Health integration, Voda may ask for permission to write water intake data to Apple Health.
Voda only requests permission to write dietary water data. Voda does not request permission to read your Apple Health data.
You can manage or revoke Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings. Data written to Apple Health is controlled by Apple Health and your device settings.
Voda does not use HealthKit data for advertising, analytics, or sale to third parties.
If you enable reminders, Voda may schedule local notifications on your device to remind you to drink water or maintain your hydration streak.
Notification scheduling is handled locally through iOS. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or iOS Settings.
Voda may share limited hydration progress data between the app, widgets, and Live Activities using Apple’s local App Group storage. This is used only to show your hydration progress on your device.
Voda does not include third-party advertising.
Voda does not sell your personal information.
Voda does not track you across apps or websites.
Voda does not currently use third-party analytics or crash reporting services.
Voda does not share your hydration data with the developer or third parties.
The only exceptions are:
Hydration data remains on your device unless you delete it, reset the app data, or uninstall the app.
If Voda has written water intake data to Apple Health, you can manage or delete that data through the Apple Health app.
Uninstalling Voda may remove local app data, subject to iOS behavior and your device backup settings.
Voda is not intended to collect personal information from children. Voda does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Voda relies on iOS security features to protect data stored on your device. No method of storage is completely secure, but Voda is designed to keep hydration data local to your device.
